Hotel Daspalla, Visakhapatnam

If you are looking for us, we are right in the Suryabagh area of Visakhapatnam. This place has been around for quite a while now. The address is Suryabagh, Visakhapatnam-530020. I work here in the food and beverage section helping out the manager. It is a four-star hotel but it feels more like a local landmark to the people who live in Vizag. We have a lot of rooms and several different places to eat inside the building. The lobby is usually busy with people checking in or waiting for friends. We see all kinds of visitors, from families on vacation to people here for business meetings. The kitchen stays busy from early morning until late at night. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow when the hotel is full, but nobody seems to mind too much. Being in Suryabagh means we are close to the shops and the main roads. It gets quite crowded outside during the festival seasons. Our staff is mostly local people who know the city inside out. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make sure there is food on the tables and the rooms are ready when people show up. It's a lot of work every day but we are used to the pace by now.
