You can find us in the Cantonment area of Vijayanagaram, specifically at Door Number 8 in the Canteenappalarajugroup House. We are right near the R and B Guest House, which is a very well-known spot in this part of town and helps people find us easily. Running a hotel means we are always around, even on the weekends. The building is a local one and it has a lot of character, even if it’s not the most modern place you will ever see. We spend a lot of our time at the front desk or checking on the rooms to make sure everything is okay for the guests. It’s a lot of physical work, moving around the building and talking to people who are staying with us. We handle the check-ins and the billing manually most of the time. It’s a small operation and we don't have a massive staff. Sometimes we have to help out with cleaning or fixing a light bulb if something breaks in one of the rooms. We know the streets of Vijayanagaram very well and often tell guests where the best local shops are for their needs. The office part of the hotel is just a small room with a desk and a computer where we keep our ledgers. It’s an honest way to make a living and we take it one day at a time. It’s a simple place for people who need a room to stay in.
