Hello Brother The Salon

Hello Brother The Salon is situated on the Main Road in Assam Gardens, over in Visakhapatnam. We are quite close to the Neelamma Vepachettu, which is a big landmark for anyone living in this part of town. The traffic on the main road is almost always heavy, so there is a constant hum of scooters and buses outside our door. Inside, it’s a different story. We try to keep things a bit more relaxed. The shop has some old pictures on the wall and a few fans that hum quite loudly when they are on the highest setting. We have a small bench where people sit and wait while reading old magazines or looking at their phones. The floor gets messy pretty quickly with all the foot traffic from the street. We’ve lived and worked in Vizag for a long time, so we know the local weather can be tough on the building. Sometimes the salt in the air makes the metal fixtures rust a little bit faster than they should. We spend our mornings setting everything up and our evenings cleaning up the day’s mess. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We don’t use any complicated systems or fancy technology. It’s just us, our tools, and the people who walk in from the neighborhood. Most of the folks around here know us by name, and we like it that way. It keeps the day going even when it's hot outside.
