Hair Affair The Family Saloon

Hair Affair The Family Saloon is located at 9-29-19 on Balaji Nagar Road. We are right in the Siripuram area of Visakhapatnam. Being beside Ticoon Restaurant means we usually smell whatever they are cooking for lunch, which can be a bit of a distraction when we are hungry. It is a family spot, so we see everyone from little kids getting their first cut to the older folks who have lived here forever. The road outside can be a bit tight for parking sometimes, but people usually find a way. We have been at this location for a while and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. Inside, it is just a normal setup with the usual scissors, combs, and spray bottles. We don't have any big corporate plans or anything, we just show up and open the shutters every morning. Sometimes the fans make a bit of a clicking noise, but they keep the air moving which is what matters in this humidity. Most of our day is just spent sweeping up hair and talking to whoever is in the chair. There are some old magazines on the table for people to look at. We have a small mirror near the door for a final look before they go out. It is a steady rhythm that we have gotten used to over the years.
