Grg Kirana & General Store

Grg Kirana & General Store is located at 58-1-423 on Karasa Road. We are right beside the Sbi Bank here in Nad Visakhapatnam. Being near a bank means there are always people walking past our door. Some are just going to the ATM, but many stop in to grab something they forgot for their kitchen. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot into the space we have. We’ve got the usual stuff like lentils, spices, and snacks. Every morning starts with checking the stock and seeing what we need to order for the next day. Visakhapatnam can get very humid, so we try to keep the shop as cool as possible for whoever walks in. It’s a straightforward business. We don’t go for anything flashy. The shelves are wooden and old, but they hold everything just fine. Most of our customers live nearby in the 530009 area. They come in for a chat as much as they do for the groceries. Sometimes the delivery trucks take forever to get through the traffic on Karasa Road, which can be a bit frustrating. But that’s just part of working in a busy area like this. We stay open until the sun goes down and the street lights come on. It’s just about being here for the local people when they need a few things for dinner or some household items. We keep a notebook for the people who come in a lot and we just try to help everyone out.
