My Electrical & Electronics

Our shop is right on the Railway Station Road, so we hear the trains coming and going all day long. It's directly opposite the Gbr Mini Market in Gopalapatnam, which is a busy little spot. People are always walking by with their grocery bags. Some of them pop in when their fan stops working or they need a new light for their porch. My Electrical & Electronics isn't a massive showroom with bright lights and fancy glass displays. It’s more of a practical place. We keep a lot of spare parts and tools on the shelves for various jobs. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped because there’s so much stuff packed in there, but we know where everything is kept. Most of our time is spent sitting at the workbench with a soldering iron. We also talk to the regulars who live around Gopalapatnam. The heat gets a bit much in the afternoons since we are so close to the station traffic, but we just keep the shutters up and keep working. Because everyone knows the Gbr market, they don’t have trouble finding us at all. We don’t really do any big sales pitches or anything like that. If someone has a broken switch or needs some wiring, they just come in and we see what we can do to fix it up. It is a simple life but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just take it day by day.
