Faith Hair Saloon& Beauty Parlour

Down near the Exhibition Ground in Gajuwaka, you'll find Faith Hair Saloon& Beauty Parlour. We’ve been at this Visakhapatnam location for a while now. It’s a combined space where we do hair for men and some beauty work for the ladies too. My sister helps me out with the parlor side while I handle the cutting. The shop is tucked away but once you find us, it’s easy to remember the way back. We’ve got a few mirrors and the usual sinks. It can get a bit humid in the summer, but we have a fan that keeps things moving. I remember when we first moved in, the walls were bare, and now they’re covered with posters of different styles that people sometimes point to. Not that everyone wants something new; most of our regulars want the same cut they’ve had for years. We buy our supplies locally and try to keep things running smooth. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, or the floor needs a second sweeping because of the wind blowing in from the ground nearby. It’s just a regular neighborhood shop. We don’t do appointments much, folks just walk in when they have time. Gajuwaka is a growing area, so there’s always someone new moving in who needs a haircut. We just try to be helpful and do the work honestly. It’s a small shop but it’s ours.
