Our shop, Essen Electronic Systems Pvt Ltd, is over in Ashok Nagar, Gajuwaka. The address is 8-4-71/5 if you're looking for it on a map. Gajuwaka is a pretty intense part of Visakhapatnam with all the steel plant traffic and the humidity from the coast. We’ve been working out of this building for quite some time now. It’s mostly about electronics here—testing boards, soldering, and putting components together. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of testing equipment and shelves full of spare parts that we might need someday. It’s not a polished showroom. It’s a working lab where people are usually busy with a magnifying glass or a soldering iron. We have a few technicians who have been living in this neighborhood their whole lives. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising; word of mouth in Gajuwaka usually keeps us busy enough. Sometimes the heat gets to be a lot, especially with all the machines running, but we have some old AC units that struggle along. We just try to be honest about what we can do and how long it will take. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide a decent service and keep our regular clients happy. It’s a simple operation, nothing more and nothing less than that. Most days end with us cleaning up the workbenches and locking up.
