Engineer

I’m Sunkari Chandra Sekhar. I live and work out of Sai Krupa Enclave in Akkayyapalem. Visakhapatnam is a good place to be an engineer, though it gets humid near the coast. I’m the son of the late S. Lakshmana Rao, and I’ve stayed in this area to keep the family name going in my own way. My setup isn't anything like those big corporate offices you see in the city center. It’s just a quiet spot where I can go over my plans and handle the engineering side of things. I spend a lot of time checking on projects around the city. Sometimes I’m out all day, other times I’m stuck behind my desk for hours. It’s honest work. I don't use any fancy talk to describe what I do. People in Akkayyapalem mostly know me as a neighbor who happens to know his way around a blueprint. I've been at this for a while now. The building I'm in is pretty standard, nothing too loud or distracting. I like the routine of it. When things get busy, I just put my head down and work through the list. Visakhapatnam has its own way of doing things, and I’ve adapted to the pace here. If someone needs an engineer who actually listens and looks at the details, they usually find their way to my door. It’s just how I operate and it seems to work out for everyone involved in the end. I don't ask for much else.
