Domrstic Travels

This travel shop is tucked away in Shivajipalem, specifically at D. No 9-8-3/2 near Maddlipalem. We’ve been operating out of this Visakhapatnam-17 neighborhood for some time. It is a small space, mostly filled with a couple of desks, a printer that jams occasionally, and calendars on the wall. We mostly handle local trips and train bookings for people in the area. Most days involve staring at computer screens looking for available seats or talking to drivers about their schedules. It isn't a high-end agency with glass walls; it’s more of a place where neighbors drop by to ask about the best way to get to the next town. We know many of the regulars who come in every month for their work trips. The street outside can get quite noisy with all the bikes and cars heading toward Maddlipalem, but we are used to it by now. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up tickets for a morning departure. People usually find us by word of mouth or by just walking past the sign on the street. It’s a basic business, focusing on getting people from one place to another without too much fuss. We handle the bookings, take the payments, and hand over the slips. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until we close up the shop in the evening. There is always something to do, whether it's answering the phone or fixing a mistake on a booking form.
