Damayanthi Super Market

Damayanthi Super Market has been sitting here in Kancharapalem for quite some time now, right around D.No. 57-1-20/A 18. It’s pretty easy to find us since we are so close to the Rytu Bazar. Most mornings start early when the trucks come in to drop off the vegetables and other supplies. It gets a bit chaotic with all the noise and people moving about, but that’s just how it is around here. We spend a lot of our time just unpacking boxes and making sure everything is sitting right on the shelves so people can find what they need without having to ask too many questions. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, just a regular place where you can get your daily things. Sometimes the heat in Kancharapalem gets to be a bit much, especially in the afternoons when the sun is hitting the front of the building, but we just keep the fans going and carry on with the work. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names because they’ve been coming here for years. It’s mostly just a few of us working here, trying to keep the inventory sorted and the floors swept when we get a spare minute. There is always something to do, like checking the dates on the milk or rearranging the snack aisle. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that, we just stay open and wait for the neighborhood folks to stop by.
