Chalam Associates

We’ve been here in Visakhapatnam for a while now, specifically set up on the second floor of Sri Surya Arcade. It’s right there in Dwaraka Nagar, which stays pretty busy most days of the week. If you know the 47-7-15 block, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times without thinking much of it. The office isn't anything too fancy, just a regular workspace where we get through the daily tasks. People stop by when they need help with things, and we try to get it sorted. There’s a lot of traffic outside, so sometimes it takes a bit to find parking near the arcade, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. Most of the time, it’s just us working through files and talking to folks who come in from the neighborhood. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the area. It gets noisy in the afternoons, but the morning is usually quite calm before the shops downstairs really open up. We don’t have a massive team or a glossy reception area, just a few desks and some chairs for visitors. It’s a practical setup. We just focus on what needs doing for the people who walk through that door. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow, so a few people just take the stairs to the second floor instead. It keeps things moving. We’re just local people doing our jobs here every day and dealing with the usual paperwork.
