We are located in Gopalpatnam, specifically in Virat Nagar. If you are looking for us, we are in the Sri Satya Sai Apartments at Laxmi Narshima Nagar. The office is F-1 on the first floor. This is where S.V. Anil Kumar and the rest of us handle things for Angel Broking. Being the son of S.V.N. Patnaik, there’s a lot of history and local connection here in the neighborhood. It’s not a big fancy brokerage firm like you see on TV with hundreds of people shouting into phones. It’s a much quieter affair in an apartment setting. We have our computers set up and we spend a lot of time watching the market move. The 530029 area is pretty comfortable, and we’ve gotten to know the people living in the other units quite well. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, which is a bit of a headache, but that’s just how it is here. We try to be honest with everyone who walks through the door about what’s going on with their accounts. There’s no corporate script that we follow. We just talk like normal people. The space is a bit cramped with all the files and ledgers, but we know where everything is. It’s a local business run by local people who just happen to know a lot about the stock market and how to navigate it. It is just a regular office day for us.
