Bhanu Saloon

Bhanu Saloon is located on the Main Road in Akkayyapalem, Visakhapatnam. We are quite close to Guptha Medicals, so that’s a good landmark if someone is looking for us. The 530016 area is pretty busy with traffic and people going to the shops nearby. My salon is just a straightforward place. I have been here for a long time, watching the city grow and the roads get wider. The humidity from the sea can be a bit much sometimes, so we try to keep the shop as airy as possible with the door open. It’s not a very big space, but it’s enough for the work I do every day. I have my mirrors, my chairs, and my drawer full of combs and razors. I usually open up early in the morning before the sun gets too high. Most of my customers are people who live right here in Akkayyapalem. We talk about the local news or the weather while I work. I don't use any of those modern machines, mostly just my hands and the scissors. The shop is a bit old-fashioned, I guess. The floor tiles are a bit worn out from all the walking, but they've held up well over the years. It’s a simple business on a busy main road. I just focus on doing the job and making sure the shop is ready for the next day. It's just a regular Vizag hair shop.
