Annapurna Traders

We've been here at 56 Simhachalam Road for quite some time now. Gopalapatnam is always busy, especially with people heading up to the temple or just going about their day in Visakhapatnam. Most mornings start the same way. We pull up the shutters, sweep the front a bit, and wait for the first few people to stop by. It’s a loud street, lots of horns and buses, but you get used to it after a few years. We keep the place stocked with what people usually need. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded inside when a few families come in at once, but we manage. My uncle used to say that a shop is just a place where you talk to your neighbors while handing over a bag of something. That’s pretty much how it feels here. We don’t have fancy displays or those bright neon lights you see in the malls. It’s just us and the shelves. Some days the heat is really something else, so we keep the fan going full speed near the counter. We know most of the regulars by name, and we know who prefers which brand without them even asking. It’s not a big operation, just a steady one. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure everything is where it should be. If we don’t have something, we try to get it by the next week. That's just how we do things here in this part of town. We are just local people trying to make a living and help out when we can.
