Animax

Most days at Animax start with opening up the shutters here in Salagrampuram. We are over at Door No 40 51 20/2, which isn't the easiest place to find if you're not from around here. It is just a small office with a few desks and a lot of paperwork piled up. We have been working out of this spot for a long time now. The street gets a bit noisy in the afternoons when the schools let out, but we don't mind it much. There are four of us usually, sometimes five if someone stops by to help out with the heavier stuff. We spend a lot of time just sorting through things and making sure everything is where it should be. It is not a very exciting place, but it keeps us busy. We have a small kettle for tea and a window that doesn't quite close right. It gets a bit drafty when it rains. We don't really have a big plan or anything, we just take the work as it comes in. Most of the people who come by are regulars from the neighborhood. We know their names and how they like things done. It feels more like a workshop than a proper business office. We just stay focused on the day-to-day tasks. Sometimes we stay late to finish up, but usually, we head home when the sun goes down. It is just a simple life here in Salagrampuram.
