Andhra Hair Style

Andhra Hair Style is a traditional barber shop located at 33-14-17 on the main road in Allipuram. We are right near the Gandhi Statue, which is a big landmark around here in Visakhapatnam. If you tell anyone to meet you at the statue, they know exactly where you mean. Our shop has been a part of this street for a long time. It’s a men's hair cutting place mostly. We have the classic big mirrors and the swivel chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. It’s a very straightforward operation. You come in, sit down, and we get to work with the clippers and scissors. We talk about the local news, cricket, or whatever else is going on in the city. The floor is usually covered in hair until we get a chance to sweep it between customers. It’s a bit of a social hub for the local men. We don't use any of that fancy styling gel that smells like perfume, just the regular stuff. The shop is small and can get quite hot in the summer, but the ceiling fan does its best. We’ve seen kids grow up coming here for their first haircuts and now they bring their own children. It’s just a normal, everyday shop in Allipuram where we do our best to give a decent haircut. We don't need anything more than that.
