Down in Chockalingapuram, Aruppukottai, you will find Sri Sowdambika Polytechnic College. It is a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't from the area, but it’s a solid place once you arrive. We have large workshop areas because polytechnic work is mostly about using your hands and understanding how machines work.
