Pacr Polytechnic College

Pacr Polytechnic College is down on Pacr Salai in the KR Nagar Post area of Rajapalayam. The pincode is 626108. It is a pretty big campus compared to some of the other places around here. Being a polytechnic, we have a lot of workshops and lab spaces where students are always working with their hands. You can often hear the sound of machines or tools coming from the back buildings during the day. Rajapalayam is a busy town, and we are right in the thick of it. The road leading up to the college is usually lined with bicycles and scooters. We have a lot of trees on the grounds which helps keep the temperature down a bit when the sun is out. The office staff stays busy with admissions and all the technical paperwork that comes with running a college like this. We do not really go in for big advertisements or commercials. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or relatives who went here years ago. The canteen is a popular spot for tea and a quick bite between practical classes. We try to keep the equipment in good shape, though things break down sometimes and we have to fix them ourselves. It is a practical place for practical people. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and making sure the students know what they are doing.
