We’re located at No. 43 E on Kamak Road. It’s a straightforward place, nothing too special to look at from the outside. We’ve been here for several years now. The office is basically one big room where we store our supplies and keep the books. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking what’s come in and what’s going out. It’s a lot of logistics, making sure things get to where they need to be. Kamak Road is always busy, so there’s a lot of noise from the street. We don’t have a lot of walk-in customers; it’s mostly scheduled deliveries and regular clients. We have a small crew and we all pitch in with everything. If a truck needs unloading, we all go out and do it. We don't have titles or fancy offices. It’s just about getting the day's work finished. The desks are old and the fans squeak a bit, but it’s home to us. We’ve got a routine that works. Sometimes we stay late to finish the paperwork, and other times it’s quiet enough to leave early. We don’t try to be a big corporation. We’re just a local business trying to do things right. It’s a practical way to live. We’ve known the other shopkeepers on the road for ages, so it feels like a community. We keep things moving and that's enough for us.
