Pournami Tools

We are located at No. 32A/15 on Karmega Nadar Street in Chettiyarpatti. It’s a small place in the Rajapalayam Taluk, part of Virudhunagar District. Pournami Tools is basically a small workshop where we make and sell tools for local workers. It’s a quiet street for the most part, except when we are busy with a big order. We have a few benches, some grinders, and stacks of raw material waiting to be used. Most of our work is done by hand or with simple machines. We don't have any high-tech automation here. It’s about knowing the feel of the metal and making sure everything is balanced right. We’ve been here for a long time, and most of our customers are neighbors or people from the surrounding villages. They come to us because they know we won't overcharge them. We don't have a website or a catalog. People just know what we do. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when the weather is nice and chat with whoever passes by. It's a simple life. We start when the sun comes up and finish when it gets too dark to see clearly. The rainy season can be tough because the roof leaks a bit near the back door, but we just move the tools to a dry spot. It’s just the way it is. We’re glad to be a part of this community. It feels like the right place for us.
