The office for Skyrus Engineering & Construction Pvt Ltd is tucked away in the Haji Ibrahim Buildings on Madurai Road. If you know Srivilliputtur, you know how that main road gets during the busy hours. It’s a lot of dust and noise outside, but once you get up to 462/112G, it settles down a bit. We spend most of our time looking at blueprints and talking to contractors who come in with mud on their boots. It isn't a fancy place with glass walls or anything. It’s just a practical workspace where we try to get the engineering work done without too many distractions. Some days the power goes out for a bit, so we just open the windows and deal with the heat from the street. There are usually a few sets of rolls of paper lying around on the desks.
