Site Engineer

We are located right on Kamatchi Amman Kovil Street in Chockalingapuram. It is a busy little area in Aruppukottai. Site Engineer is the name on the board, but most people just know us by face. Working in Virudhunagar district means dealing with a lot of dry heat and dusty roads, but we are used to it by now. The office is at number 45(1), nothing too big, just enough space for our equipment and a place to sit and draw up plans. We spend most of our time out at the actual sites, checking on progress and making sure the dimensions are right. It’s a lot of walking and measuring under the sun. Sometimes the locals stop by just to chat since we are near the temple. We don’t use any big corporate words because we are just local guys doing the job. If the work is there, we go. If there’s a problem with the ground or the layout, we figure it out right there. It’s practical work. My brother helps with the site visits when things get busy. We’ve been in Aruppukottai for years, so we know the streets and the people around here pretty well. It's not a complicated business. We just take the measurements, check the sites, and make sure everything is where it should be according to the papers. It is a simple life and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the lines right for the project.
