Shiva Hollow Blocks

We are located at 19 Kaliappa Nagar, right on Nrkr Road. Shiva Hollow Blocks has been here for a good bit of time. It’s a simple setup with a lot of heavy lifting. Every morning, the mixer starts up and that’s the sound of our day beginning. We make blocks. They sit out in the sun to cure. You’ll see them stacked up high if you drive past the gate. It gets pretty loud and dusty, so we usually wear old clothes that we don't mind getting ruined. The neighborhood knows us well because of the trucks coming in and out. Sometimes the traffic on Nrkr Road gets a bit backed up, especially when we’re trying to load a delivery. We don't have a receptionist or anything. If you want to talk, you just walk into the yard and find one of us. Usually, someone is covered in cement dust. We use the local water and sand. It’s a straightforward business. We don't spend time on fancy websites or brochures. We just focus on the piles of blocks. Sometimes customers come by just to see how many we have in stock for their small house projects. We tell them what’s ready and what needs a few more days to dry properly. It’s a lot of manual labor, but it’s what we know how to do here in Kaliappa Nagar. We close up when it gets dark.
