Mitra Pre School

Mitra Pre School is tucked away in the Bharathi Nagar neighborhood, over in Rajapalayam. It is a nice enough spot for the little ones to spend their time. We have our building there and it gets pretty lively once the sun comes up and the day starts. Children are always running around and making noise, which is just how a school should be, I suppose. The neighborhood of Bharathi Nagar is usually quite quiet until we start our day. We do not have any big corporate backing or anything like that. It is just us and the local families who trust us with their kids. The rooms are filled with drawings on the walls and small chairs everywhere. Rajapalayam can get quite warm in the summer, so we try to keep the place as cool as we can for the children. We spend a lot of time just managing the daily schedule, from the snacks to the play time. It is not a very complicated life here. We see the parents every morning and afternoon at the gate. Some of them have been coming to us for years as their younger children grow up and join. We have a little bit of space outside for them to move around. The gate squeaks a bit when you open it, and we keep meaning to oil it one of these days. It is a simple place where kids can just be kids for a few hours.
