You can find Avitaa Food Products over at 636/15 on Rajapalayam Road. It’s a busy stretch of road, especially during the morning rush when everyone is trying to get to work at the same time. Our building is tucked in there, and we’ve been here for quite a while. It’s not a big factory, just a practical space where we handle everything from start to finish. The smell of whatever we are working on that day usually fills the whole place and even spills out onto the sidewalk. Some days it's stronger than others, depending on what's in the pots. We have a small crew of workers who show up early to get things started before it gets too hot. It’s hard work, but we’re used to the long hours. The equipment we use is older but it still runs fine as long as we take care of it and do the maintenance. We don't have a lot of fancy automation. Most things are done by hand or with simple machines. The office part of the building is just a small room with a couple of desks and a lot of ledgers stacked on shelves. We still keep track of a lot of things manually because it feels more reliable than a computer sometimes. There's always someone coming in or going out, deliveries arriving or stuff being loaded for customers. It keeps us on our toes. We don't have much time for sitting around. When the day is over, we're usually tired, but it's a good feeling.
