Hyatt Regency, Mumbai

We are the crew for Hyatt Regency Mumbai, but we’re actually located over in Virar West at the Milan Complex. It's in Golden Park, specifically unit B/204 in Tirupati Nagar Phase II. It’s quite a way out from the airport area where the actual hotel sits, but this is our base in the Thane district. The office is pretty simple. We don't have the marble floors or the high ceilings you might find at the Regency. It’s just a standard office space in a complex where we handle the behind-the-scenes stuff. We’ve been here in Virar for some time now and it works for us. The commute isn't too bad for the local staff. We deal with the logistics and the admin side of things. There’s usually a lot of tea going around and the sound of keyboards. We don’t really do the whole corporate talk thing. We just tell it like it is. If someone needs to send us something, this is where it lands. The district has changed a lot since we started, but our little corner in Milan Complex stays mostly the same. We just focus on the job at hand and try to stay organized. It’s a practical setup for a busy hotel’s needs. Nothing more, nothing less. We are just a small team making sure everything is ready for the guests who stay at the main hotel far away from here.
