Rajan Modern Rice Mill

Our mill is over at 92/1 in Molasur Village, which is part of the Tindivanam region. It is a quiet enough place most of the year, but things really pick up when the rice comes in. At Rajan Modern Rice Mill, we spend most of our time dealing with the machinery and making sure the grain is processed right. The building is a bit old, and the walls have seen a lot of seasons, but it stands strong. We have a few guys who have been with us for years, and we all just know what needs to be done without talking about it too much. Working in a village like Molasur means everyone knows everyone else’s business, which has its ups and downs. We try to stay focused on our own work at the mill. The noise from the machines can be a bit much if you aren't used to it, but to us, it just sounds like a normal Tuesday. We don't have any fancy signs or a big marketing budget. Most people find us because they know where 92/1 is or they have seen our trucks out on the road. The days are long, starting when it is still dark and often finishing well after the sun has set. It is tired work, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing the bags stacked up at the end of the day. We just take things one day at a time here in Tindivanam.
