G. T Exports & Imports

You can find us at 264 Mariamman Koil Street in Edapalayam. This is part of the Semangalam Post in Vanur T. K., which sits inside the Villupuram District. It is a bit of a journey to get out here if you are coming from the city, but it is much quieter. G. T Exports & Imports operates from a building that is right near the temple. You can hear the bells in the morning which is a nice way to start the workday. We deal with both importing and exporting, so there is always a mix of different tasks on our plates. One day we are looking at stuff coming from overseas and the next we are packing up local items. The roads around Edapalayam are not always the best, especially after a big storm, so we have to plan our transport carefully. The office is basically just one large room with a few desks and a very old computer that takes forever to start up. We keep a lot of our records in big binders on the shelves. It is a family-run kind of thing, so there is usually someone's kid running around or a neighbor stopping by for a chat. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work honestly and keep the business running for another year without overcomplicating things with corporate nonsense.
