You can find us at 95, Mela Veethi. We are right across the street from the Makalakshmi TVS showroom, which makes us pretty easy to spot if you are looking for that landmark. Being on Mela Veethi means there is a lot of foot traffic and vehicles passing by all the time. Our business is all about stone supply, so as you can imagine, it’s a lot of physical labor. We spend our days loading up pieces of stone and making sure they get to where they need to go. It’s heavy work and it definitely keeps us tired by the end of the day. The yard gets a bit cluttered sometimes because stone takes up a lot of room and it isn't always easy to stack perfectly. When the weather is dry, there’s usually a bit of dust in the air from moving the slabs around. We don't have a polished showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a practical working space where the grit and the grime are just part of the job. Most of our customers are locals or contractors who have been coming to this part of town for years. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of the orders that come in. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road for a minute, but everyone on Mela Veethi is used to that kind of thing. It’s just a regular local shop where we work hard and go home.
