Sri Venugopal Primary School.So.Kuppam

Our primary school is in a place called Sorattupperiyankuppam. Most people just call it So Kuppam. We are on the So Kuppam Road in the Villupuram district. The area is quite rural and surrounded by fields, so it feels very different from the schools in the big cities. We have a simple building with a few classrooms that look out over the road. We primarily serve the children from the surrounding villages who walk or come on cycles every day. Our address is 604153 and we have been a part of this community for many years. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a big computer lab. We focus on reading, writing, and basic math. The teachers here are very practical people who understand the life of the families in this part of Villupuram. During the harvest season, the roads can get a bit dusty with all the tractors moving around, but that is just part of life here. We have a courtyard where the children gather for the morning assembly and for their lunch break. It is a very modest school, and we don't try to be anything else. We don't have any big slogans or missions written on the walls. We just show up every morning, open the gates, and wait for the kids to arrive. It is an honest way to spend the day, helping the local children learn their first lessons in our small building.
