Sree Guruvayurappen & Company is located at Number 99A on the Trichy Main Road. If you know that road, you know how much traffic there is during the day. We’ve been sitting here for quite a while now, watching the buses and cars go by from our front entrance. It’s a convenient spot because everyone passes by eventually. Inside, it’s a bit cramped because we have a lot of things stored on the shelves. We don't have a big fancy showroom, just a counter and some chairs for people to sit on while we talk. Most of the time, we are busy answering the phone or looking through ledgers. The building itself is older, and you can hear the sounds of the street even when the door is closed. We take a lunch break every day at the same time, and usually, someone goes out to get coffee for everyone in the afternoon. It is a local business through and through. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just open up in the morning, do our work at 99A, and go home when the sun sets. It’s a steady pace and we like it that way. Sometimes the rain makes the road messy, but we just keep the shop open regardless and wait for the regulars to stop in.
