Rain Tree Hotel,Chennai

The Rain Tree Hotel office we have here is in Tiruvannamalai, not actually in Chennai where the main hotel is. We are located at 849/B on Second Street in Vanavil Nagar, Vengikkal. It’s a bit of a distance from the city hustle. This place serves as our base for certain tasks and administrative stuff. The building is a regular house-like structure in a quiet neighborhood. Most of the neighbors are families, so it doesn’t feel much like a hotel office at all. We have a few rooms set up with desks and filing cabinets. The street outside is paved but it’s not very wide. We see the temple towers from certain spots nearby. Working here in Tiruvannamalai is different because the pace is much slower. We don’t have guests staying here, it’s just us handling the back-end work. We spend our days answering emails and keeping records updated. Sometimes the heat gets quite bad, so we keep the windows closed and the fans on. There’s a small shop nearby where we get our snacks. We’ve been at this Vengikkal address for a while now and the locals know us. It’s not a grand place with a big lobby, just a functional space where we get through the daily pile of work. We mostly just keep to ourselves and make sure everything is sorted for the main branch so they don't have to worry about the paperwork.
