Himalaya Exports. No. 341/1 Jagannathan Nagar Vazhuthareddy. We are based out of Jagannathan Nagar in the Vazhuthareddy area. Our place is located at No. 341/1. It is a bit of a residential area, so it stays fairly calm, which is nice when we are trying to get work done. We handle the export of different materials from this location. The business has been in the family for two generations now. I took over the management from my father about ten years ago. We have a couple of rooms that are filled with ledgers and samples. It is definitely not a corporate headquarters. Just a practical workspace where we can stay focused on the tasks. We spend most of our time on the phone or writing out shipping manifests. It is a lot of detail work that most people do not ever see. We do not have any flashy brochures or a team of people out selling. We just rely on the relationships we have built up over the years. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to work by candlelight for an hour or two until it comes back. It is just part of the experience of living and working in this part of town. We try to be helpful when people call us with questions. Our neighbors are good people and they do not seem to mind the occasional truck coming to pick up goods. We have been here a long time and we plan to stay for much longer.
