Tekkalakote Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are based in the 10th Ward of Tekkalakote, right near Siddarame’s place. Our company is basically just a group of local farmers who live and work right here. Farming around Tekkalakote is what we have always done, but it can be a real struggle sometimes with the prices and the rain. We thought that if we joined up as a producer company, we might have a better chance of getting things right. We are not business experts or people who sit in offices all day. We are the ones out there in the dirt. The office is just a plain room where we sit down to figure out our costs and where we are sending the harvest. We do not spend any money on fancy signs or marketing because we do not really need it. Everyone in the village knows who we are and what we do. We just want to get a fair price for our work and make sure we can keep going next year. It is a very straightforward way of working together. When someone’s tractor breaks down or a crop fails, we try to help each other out. That is why we started this in the first place. It is not a corporate thing, it is just a bunch of neighbors trying to make life a little bit easier for everyone involved in the farming.
