Kudligi Thaluka Farmers Producer Company Limited is situated on the road opposite the Basavalingeshwara Temple. Our address is a bit long, No 1G/2B/122/82, but if you just look for the temple road in Kudligi, you will find us easily enough. We are a bunch of local farmers who got together to make things a bit easier for everyone in the taluk. The office is a practical space where we store our ledgers and meet up to discuss the season. It’s not very big, and it can get a bit cramped when more than three or four people show up at once. We like being near the Basavalingeshwara Temple because it’s a landmark everyone knows. We do a lot of the basic stuff like helping with seeds and trying to find better ways to sell what we grow. Kudligi is a tough place for farming sometimes, with the weather being so unpredictable. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the guys who come in from the surrounding villages. There is always some news to share or a problem to solve. We don't bother with fancy talk or big promises. We just do the work that needs doing. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot of produce moving, but usually, we are home by dark. It’s a local operation run by people who live right here and know the soil of this taluk.
