The Gateway Hotel

We are located right on MG Road here in Vijayawada. If you’ve been around this part of Andhra Pradesh, you know how busy this street gets. Our building has been part of the landscape for quite some time now. We have people coming in and out all day, some for a quick stay and others who are here for business meetings. It’s a practical spot for anyone who needs to be in the center of things. The lobby usually has a bit of a hum to it, especially during the morning check-out rush. We don't try to be anything we aren't; we just provide rooms and a place to eat. Our staff mostly live nearby, so they know the shortcuts around the city traffic. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow when we’re full, but that’s just how it goes in an older building. We keep the place tidy and make sure the kitchen is running. You can see the city moving right outside the front doors. It’s not a quiet retreat, but it’s convenient. Most of the regulars like being near the shops and offices on MG Road. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, with new shops opening and others closing down. We just keep doing our thing every day, making sure the beds are made and the lights are on for whoever shows up. It’s a straightforward operation here.
