Sujay Biotech Pvt. Ltd. is out in Phase 3 of Jawaha Autonagar, right on the 3rd Road at Plots 19A and 19B. It’s quite a distance from the city center, and the road gets really dusty with all the heavy trucks passing by the industrial estate. We mostly work with seeds and plant samples, so the place usually smells a bit like wet soil and old fertilizer. It’s not some high-tech laboratory you see on TV; it’s mostly just us in our work boots checking on the growth in the sheds. The sun hits the metal roof of the building in the afternoon and it gets incredibly hot inside. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us since we started at this location. A typical day involves a lot of recording data by hand and making sure the irrigation pipes aren't leaking. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy reception area. Usually, if you visit, you’ll find us in the back with dirt on our hands. It’s a slow process, waiting for things to grow and seeing if the biotech side of things actually works out. We just focus on the daily tasks of feeding and watering and testing. Sometimes a batch doesn't do well, and we have to start all over again, which is frustrating but part of the job. It's a quiet life out here in Autonagar.
