You can find us at Mamasa Exporters & Importers, located at 11-22-28 on R.R. Appa Rao Street. This street is always packed with people and the sound of horns, so it can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it. We’ve been operating out of this building for a long time, and the walls are filled with old files from years ago. We deal with various items coming in and going out, mostly just acting as the middleman for local shops and international suppliers. It’s a lot of shouting into the phone because the noise from the street is so loud. We don’t have a fancy office setup or anything like that. It’s just a couple of wooden desks, some heavy chairs, and a very old ceiling fan that squeaks. My brother handles the accounts while I talk to the transporters and the dock workers. We spend a lot of time just waiting for trucks to arrive or for the paperwork to be cleared at the port. It’s a bit of a messy business, and our clothes are usually wrinkled by lunch. We just try to keep things moving and make sure our customers get their orders on time. There’s no big secret to how we work; we just show up every morning and deal with whatever problems the day brings. Most of the neighbors on the street are in the same boat, so we all help each other out.
