St Anns Hospital

St Anns Hospital is located right at Benz Circle in Vijayawada, near the PWD Ground. This is one of the busiest spots in the whole city. If you’ve lived here for any amount of time, you definitely know where the circle is. Being in such a central location means we get a lot of people coming in from all over. The hospital has been around for many years and is a well-known landmark itself. It is a large building compared to some of the smaller clinics, but it still feels like a local institution. There are always people coming and going, especially with the bus stop and the ground so close by. Inside, it can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. We have different departments for various health problems. It’s a busy atmosphere with doctors and nurses moving through the halls constantly. We don't try to look like a five-star hotel. It is a hospital, so it looks like a hospital. The floors are scrubbed and the lights are bright. We see a lot of serious stuff and a lot of routine stuff too. It’s a place of work where we try to stay calm despite the noise from the traffic outside. Everyone knows St Anns. We are just part of the landscape of Vijayawada, sitting right there at the main crossroads. We just keep going, day and night.
