Nrias Medical College & Hospital

We work at Nrias Medical College & Hospital. It is located at 61-3/2-6/1 in Balaji Nagar, which is part of the Krishnalanka area in Vijayawada. It’s a big place and there is always something going on. Whether it’s students running to class or patients coming in for checkups, it never really stays quiet. P.Venkateswara Rao is one of the names people know here. Being in the Krishna District, we get people coming in from all the nearby villages too. It’s not just a school, it’s where people come when they aren't feeling well. The hallways are long and sometimes the elevators are slow, but that's just how it is in a big building like this. We have a lot of different departments. Some of us have been working here for years and we’ve seen many classes of students graduate and become doctors. It's a lot of responsibility. We don't try to sound like a corporate hospital. We are just a local institution trying to help the community. The 520013 area is home to us. It can be stressful when it's crowded, but we just take it one person at a time. The doctors are busy and the nurses are always on their feet. We just try to keep things organized so everyone gets what they need. It’s an important part of life here in Vijayawada and we take that seriously. We are just people helping other people every single day.
