Inside, there are several different wards and a lot of corridors that can be a bit confusing if it’s your first time here. We have a lot of staff running around between 77-22-8 and the various wings. The atmosphere is usually quite serious, as you would expect in a hospital. We see all kinds of cases every day. The street outside, Alluri Seetharama Raju Street, can get quite congested with ambulances and cars. We spend a lot of time managing the patient flow from Prajashakti Nagar and the surrounding spots. The floors are tiled and get mopped several times a day to keep things tidy. There are benches in the hallways for families to wait on. It’s not a place with a lot of style, just a functional hospital trying to help the people who live nearby. Many of our workers have been here for years and know the layout of Prakash Nagar by heart. We just keep the doors open and do the work that needs doing every single shift. It’s a landmark in this part of town and everyone knows where it is at all times.
