If you walk into Booma Complex on Main Road, you'll see us there. The smell of coffee is usually the first thing people notice when they walk past our door. We sell coffee powder and the beans too, mostly to people living right here in Vijayawada. It’s not a big fancy showroom or anything. We have wooden shelves that have seen better days and a counter where we weigh everything out. Besides coffee, we keep basic things like soaps, toothpaste, and some dry goods. It gets quite noisy outside with the traffic on Main Road, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of the grinder. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass jars because the dust from the street gets everywhere. I usually sit near the front to keep an eye on things. My son helps out in the evenings after he's done with his work. Some customers have been coming to us for twenty years. They don't even have to say what they want anymore. We just get it ready. We don't have fancy packaging, just plain bags. It’s a simple business. Sometimes we run out of specific brands if the truck is late, but that’s just how it is. We try to keep things organized but it’s hard when new stock arrives and there’s no place to put it. We don't have a phone, so you just have to come by if you need coffee.
