Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Supermarket

This supermarket is right on the Main Road in Nandhamuri Nagar. We are located in Singh Nagar, Vijayawada, across from the Chandrahasa Apartments. It’s a fairly large space compared to the small kirana shops nearby. We try to stock a bit of everything, from sacks of rice to cleaning liquids and plastic buckets. Because we are near the apartments, we get a lot of people coming in for their monthly shopping. It can get pretty chaotic on Sunday mornings when everyone is off work. We have a few staff members who help with stocking the shelves and weighing the pulses. I spend most of my time at the billing counter, which can be tiring during the rush hours. The building is 43-106/1-59B, you can’t really miss it if you’re on the main road. We don't do home delivery because we don't have enough staff for that, so people just come and carry their own bags. It’s a family-run operation at its heart. We’ve seen the kids in the neighborhood grow up over the years. We keep the place as clean as we can, but with so many feet coming in, it’s a constant job. There’s no big marketing strategy here. We just open the doors, keep the lights on, and make sure the shelves aren't empty. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from morning till night.
