I set up my workspace at 40-9-34, Ground Floor of the Akhila Apartment. It’s right near Benz Circle, which is probably the busiest spot in all of Vijayawada. Being on the ground floor is convenient because people don’t have to hunt for stairs or an elevator. We are right opposite Vidya Niketan and near Acharya Ranga Nagar. It’s a good location, even if the traffic outside never seems to stop. My name is Sreenivas T and this is where I spend my hours. The office is pretty basic. I have a few chairs for visitors and a desk that’s usually covered in documents. Since we are so close to the school, you can hear the bells and the kids sometimes. It adds a bit of life to the day. The apartment building itself is older, but it stays fairly cool inside. I don’t have a massive staff, just a couple of people helping out when things get busy. We don’t do things in a very formal way. If someone walks in, we just talk and see what needs doing. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. Some days I’m out running errands related to the work, but mostly I’m right here at the desk. It’s a practical setup for a local person like me. We just focus on the daily grind and try to keep everything moving along without too much fuss.
