F/O Incharge

People usually just call us or walk into the office here in Akkireddygudem. It is a quiet place most of the time, tucked away in the Musunuru area of Krishna district. Being the F/O Incharge means there is always a stack of papers to look at or someone waiting with a question about a form. I spend a lot of my day sitting at the wooden desk near the door. The fan makes a clicking noise that you eventually stop hearing after a few hours. We don’t have fancy stuff here. Just the basic tools to get the work done. Outside, the weather gets really hot in the afternoons, so we try to do the heavy filing early in the morning when it’s still cool. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out or chat with the neighbors who stop by for water. It’s not a complicated life. We handle the paperwork, keep the records straight, and make sure everything stays organized for the next day. Sometimes people from the post office come by with bundles of letters. We’ve been at this address for a while now, so everyone around here knows where to find us if they need help with their documents. It’s just how things go in a small village like this. We do our bit, close up in the evening, and start over again when the sun comes up tomorrow.
