Sree Sai Trading Co

I've been coming to Bhagat Singh Road for a long time now. Our shop, Sree Sai Trading Co, is tucked into Shyam Plaza at 23-12-4. It’s a busy spot. Most mornings start with unlocking the shutters and checking what needs to go out. The traffic on the road gets loud by ten. We deal with various trading goods. It’s not fancy. My desk is usually covered in papers and receipts. Some days are just about moving boxes and talking to the regulars who drop by. We’ve seen the buildings around us change, but the plaza stays pretty much the same. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit. It’s hard work, mostly. We keep things organized as much as we can. Usually, someone is asking for directions to another shop nearby. We just point them the right way. The floor gets dusty from the street, so we sweep a lot. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is in its place. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten quickly between orders. By evening, the light in the plaza gets a bit dim. We pack up, lock the doors, and head home. That is basically what happens here every day at our place on Bhagat Singh Road. It’s just how we do things.
