You can find Softwear Marketing Co. at 104 in the VASTRALATHA building. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s the heart of the textile trade. The corridors are always crowded with people moving bundles of cloth and haggling over prices. Our office is right in the middle of that energy. We deal with the marketing side of things, so there are always samples and brochures lying around. It’s a bit of a cramped space because we have to store so many different items. The phone rings a lot, and there is usually a lot of shouting back and forth to get things done. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find quiet corners. We have a couple of old fans that struggle to keep the heat away during the summer months. Most of our work involves talking to vendors and making sure the products are getting seen by the right people. It’s a gritty, fast-paced environment that doesn't leave much time for tidying up. We usually eat our lunch quickly at our desks while checking orders. It’s the kind of business where you have to be present and active all day long. Being in Vastralatha means we are always connected to the market, which is exactly where we need to be. There is always someone coming in to ask about a price or a delivery schedule. We just keep moving.
