Siva Sai Durga General Stores

Siva Sai Durga General Stores is situated at 9/60/37A on Ganapathirao Road in Vijayawada. A lot of people know us because we are right by the Fish Market Bus Stop. It is a very lively area with a lot of noise and movement all day long. Our store is quite small, but we try to fit a lot into it. We sell general items that families around here use every day. I’ve lived in Vijayawada my whole life, so I know this neighborhood well. Working here means I get to see all kinds of people. It’s not a polished or corporate place. We have wooden shelves and things are sometimes a bit disorganized when we are busy. We don't have a mission statement or any of that. We just show up, open the shutters, and help whoever comes in. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon is quite something, but we have a small fan that keeps us going. It’s a lot of work to keep track of everything, but it keeps me busy. My family helps out during the festivals when things get really crowded. We are just a local business trying to do things the right way. If you are getting off at the bus stop, you’ll probably see us right there. We are just regular people running a regular shop for our neighbors, and that’s what we plan to keep doing.
