Shirdi Sai Surya Teja General Stores

Shirdi Sai Surya Teja General Stores is situated right at the Sitara Center in Vijayawada. Our door number is 3-2-34. Being at the Sitara Center means we see a lot of traffic and a lot of different people every day. It is a very busy part of the city. The shop itself is just a regular general store where we keep the essentials. I have a lot of jars filled with snacks and biscuits on the front counter because they are easy for people to grab on their way past. The name of the shop is a bit long, so most people just call it the general store at Sitara. I spend my time mostly restocking the shelves and talking to the wholesalers when they come by. The noise from the street is constant, with buses and rickshaws always zooming past. It gets very bright in the mornings when the sun comes through the front entrance. I have an old wooden table where I keep my ledgers. I prefer writing things down by hand rather than using a machine. It feels more real that way. People come in for all sorts of things, from a single pen to a whole bag of rice. We just try to keep up with the demand and make sure we don't run out of the basics. It is a busy life, but I like being in the middle of it all.
